Biography & C.V.

Born in 1991 in Indore city, central India. A visual artist with a centralized vision for his work along with sensitivity about contemporary world around him, never bounded himself in a certain medium of working. He studied painting from Government College of Fine Arts, Indore. He left studies in 3rd year (2012) because of some very personal reason. He continued with own outdoor and indoor drawing practices.

Began with painting series “Eye-A medium” in 2011, Invisible movements of eyes between people are more effective than the visible movements. He painted those invisible movements. He lived in isolation in 2013 to concentrate on his works. In 2014 he worked on a sub – series ‘’Women and Eyes’’. He interpreted women as a guardian of eyes. To keep our observation alive as a human, it is very necessary to observe the moods of a lady; beauty, happiness or anger or any kind of emotions of a woman. All these things make our eye highly observational. That’s why I depicted women as a caretaker of eyes. As a guardian of eyes.

From 2014 to 2018 he worked in many commission projects. He worked in international artist management team in ‘’Khajuraho dance and art festival’’ from 2015 to 2017. In 2018 he also worked in a renovation project of ‘’ Maurya Museum ‘’ at Bihar regimental center of Indian army in Patna. In this project he worked as a designer, artistic painter, sculptor, according to necessity of the project for a year.

In 2018 “Grey; as little as possible” a series of drawings with brush and black. Grey has its importance and must become immaterial after a period; in the context of both palette and life. He felt that to reach the apex of deepest black and brightest white, he should use grey tones as little as much possible. From 2012 started exhibiting works and got recognition in 2016 & 2017 through selections in reputed national exhibitions like Sczcc & Art Society of India. From 2018 to 2020 he worked for his state based NGO called ‘’Praroha cultural society’’ as a cofounder and secretary. From 2020 he started to work with diverse media like sculpture, installation, video and experimentation to get an innovative visual appeal for his subjects and research.

He got his first international publication of works from the current multidimensional project ‘’Mutation’’, in “The social art award 2021” catalogue published by Institute for art & innovation, Berlin. From 2020 He is solely concentrating on his diverse media based artistic research project “Mutation”.
